He said he expects an announcement this week, but did not clarify if it was oc, dc, or both.

I know this. Just seeing if he might have anything new. Nothing wrong with a little bump after he stated he expected an announcement this week.

Am I serious that 2020 Baylor is a better program than 2005 Ole Miss? Yes, 100%.

I am hearing that Napier was offered 2.5 million to be Bama's OC and possibly be HC in waiting.

ULL maybe hiring Applewhite as HC.

It depends on how you look at it. As far as rosters go, Cutcliff didn’t give a shite about recruiting and was loyal to his guys to a fault. The cupboard was pretty bare there by the end of 2004. Eli and a few players around him kept them winning until 03, but the wheels fell off that last season.

It does make sense. Plenty of Cajun fans are Bama fans!

I don’t see Napier accepting that. He’s already getting P5 interest and Alabama would likely come calling after Saban retires anyway. Wouldn’t make much sense to take a demotion right now

Because HIC gigs always work out. Does Napier plan on waiting in line for 5 years?

This info is from a prominent ULL backer. ULL is trying to match the money fast.

The deal is Saban would retire after next season.

Just passing along info. I have no care one way or another.

I doubt seriously the majority wanted to run off Aranda.

His defense was actually very good last season. The game vs Vandy was never in jeopardy and he admitted they were tinkering with things. They can afford that in a game like that which was never going to be in doubt.

The Ole Miss game LSU still could have won by 4 tds? if they didn't take a knee. Some say O had his hands on that game any ways with the blitzing. Idk. It's irrelevant to me, because for the most part Aranda was great last season.

I doubt seriously people wanted to run him off. Especially after what he did against A&M, Georgia, OU, and Clemson. When it mattered most, he stepped it up.

Chief, you must not spend much time around here. Many of the mouth breathers were clamoring for his dismissal last year. It is fact. I was not one of them. I'm also not one calling him a savant and O a lucky window licker.....

I'm not looking up old posts to prove a point on TD.

No but i was getting the feeling saban might hang it up this year if he wins it all. Go out on top, not worry about possibly having to hire 2 coordinators if their DC gets canned like some here were saying.

If I’m Fulmer and I got word of that, I’m firing Proot right now and throwing money at Napier
Could be info floated by Napier’s agent to illicit said reaction from Tennessee

I just can't see Saban being the type to have a HCIW sitting around waiting to push him out the door. Little bit of ego, little bit of an insecurity complex as an aging coach.

man, that sounds more like info being released by Napier's agent. That HCIW bullshite never seems to pan out.

Anyway, thanks for the updates.
