I mean what is Chris’s background and why would Lane hire him to be a DC? If he was so good wouldn’t he have already replaced Golding?

I think people forget before Pete Golding, Lane’s defenses were always hot dog water, mostly because he picked terrible DCs. This would jive lol

Yes, Thomas worked under Kiffin in OleMiss and left OleMiss for LSU for the same title. Kiffin was not happy at that time and promoted a guy from inside.
