Ole Miss has set up some kind of rev share/NIL package that they are going to pitch to him at the meeting tomorrow. Hopefully LSU has it beat or will get a chance at a counter.

If that’s the case it’d be very easy for him to come out and say I’m staying at ole miss…that hasn’t happened…he’s gone

Ole Miss will have to go through the likes of Georgia Ohio State and Texas in the playoff who will always recruit better than they do. Anything can happen in a given year with some good luck but he’s never going to consistently be amongst the blue bloods of college football. He’ll always be punching up at Ole Miss. That is why he owes it to himself if he cares about creating a legacy of championships like Saban and Kirby to go to a school like Florida or LSU.

That’s because Kiffin is staying put. He’s leveraging other schools to get a high offer from ole miss. He has everything he needs at Ole Miss he just wants a pay bump from them.

This is Jimmy Sexton we are talking about. Of course LSU will get a chance to counter

I 100% guarantee he is either staying at or leaving Ole Miss

read the tea leaves. ole miss is fricking themselves with these emergency meetings and deadlines.
A deadline is only a deadline if someone is willing to enforce it.

I wouldn’t say confident. I’m on those boards, seem split 50/50 and the guys that are saying leaving are tired of his antics and want him gone. In all reality he will just do this next year with Texas or Alabama if he stays

Gut says Lane stays at Ole Miss.
I’m sure your gut wrong about that gas station taquito as well.

Denial is a hell of a drug. Plus the peaceful protest begging him to stay should work also

Kiffin given the green light to bring O on staff at LSU.
I mean, if it wasn’t done already it is now. Like a fricking Thanksgiving turkey

If Kiffin wanted O, why is he not on his staff now?
Posted on 11/20/25 at 5:51 pm to SelaTiger
Lane isn’t leaving for LSU because he can’t handle the pressure of the job, at Ole Miss he has zero pressure to win NC’s and if he gets the NIL $ matched why leave for an in conference rival?

Didn’t he get Ole Miss hot with some sanctions while being a terrible coach? Maybe they told him no.
O also said their gas station stick chicken and tailgate tenders were a disgrace.

O gets his last $400k paycheck from LSU in December. He’s ready to get back to work, and more importantly, make some cash.

They would be the only OM fans to dislike him. Every one I talk to wants him to stay. And I know a lot of them. That sounds like horseshite to me.

No, he just won zero SEC games as a HC there.

That’s because he is. Ultimately, he will say the timing was bad. And it is. I don’t think anybody expected LSU would fire Kelly mid season. If this happens after the season, he may have come to LSU. But he isn’t leaving in the middle of their playoff season.
