That's typical Louisiana swamp trash that you smell.

Another Auburn fan wishing for Saban to leave.

He signed one in the Spring that didn't matter as of yesterday. So even if he signed one yesterday, with no buyout he can do whatever the hell he wants.
No buyout? Is Bama stoopid?
Last coach we had a buyout for, was Shula. That worked out well didn't it.
Ask Auburn if they're still paying Tuberville, much less Chizik.
Hell, ask Nebraska how much they'd LOVE right now not to have a big buyout.

Hoping it's Saban but I'm thinking Charlie Strong.

Why are we talking about Saban?
This thread should be solely to extol the greatness that is William Mack Brown. Twice in twenty-four hours, he stared down the Texas boosters and smacked them in their faces with his johnson.
Anybody can leverage their situation for more cash. Hell, Les Miles does it all the time. Mack is taking the concept of "owning" to a whole new level.
William Mack Brown, GOAT.

Saban could still easily go to Texas.
Give it a week. Have Texas look at other candidates. Saban shows up out of the blue in Austin and he doesn't have to deal with the chaos.
He explains that there was no job opening nor was there an offer when he signed his extension at Alabama. But, they made him an offer he couldn't refuse and it was business, not personal.
All of this happens on Christmas Day.
