Rabalais' odds on the next coach:
The joke's on y'all. All odds of the coaches on his list add up to less than 50%, so he thinks it's gonna be somebody else!
Seriously, anyone who uses odds when he can't calculate odds is a bit dim.

Really wish we could eliminate Tucker.
Jimbo w/Elko
Aranda
Napier
Should be the realistic candidates after you make Riley and Rhule say no.

Jimbo isn't leaving A&M. Not sure why his name is at the top of any list.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS? A 40-29 loss to Purdue does little to dim Tucker’s star if you’re looking at his overall resume. We’ll rank him just behind Fisher for now. Odds 7-1.
- Aranda: 20-1
WHAT ARE THE ODDS? A 30-28 loss to TCU, dropping Aranda’s career record to 9-9, reminds you how small a sample size he has as a head coach. Odds 20-1.
Tucker with a larger sample size, similar results.
Rabelais with his hard hitting reporting.

His employer is as woke as Tate. Of course he’s going to pimp for Tucker, his job may depend on it.

LOL, you expecting Vegas like precision odds from a journalist on something you can’t actually bet (Rabs odds)?

Tucker has an "overall resume".

Aranda has a small sample size.
Tucker has coached 28 games and is 2 games over .500
Aranda has coached 18 games and is exactly at .500
These are #2 and #3 or Rabalais' list.
And, Rabalais sees a major difference between them.

Saban was 6-6 his first year at Alabama
One year at Colorado being 5-7 is not telling on how good a coach is.

Exactly, whenever I read a post that cherry picks a small segment or statistic to disqualify or promote a particular candidate just move on. It’s not an informed football mind your dealing with.

The reality on Tucker, Aranda and Napier are that they are largely unproven. Napier has a longer tenure as head coach but has no years as a P5 coach which needs to be considered.
Picking any of these three are a gamble and it’s useless to try and gleam something big from this limited info. My preference would be an established P5 coach but those don’t switch jobs often.

Do y’all realize Jimbo has to actually accept the job? Just because Woodward wants him doesn’t mean he’s the next coach. I will tattoo GEAUX JIMBO on my forehead if Jimbo leaves A&M for LSU. There is zero chance

Agree, but Riley, Day, Kirby, etc were even greater gambles and LSU job is about as attractive as Ohio St, OU, UGA, etc. Not sure why we think we’re entitled to a cinch established elite coach when Jimbo to A&M , Mullen to UF, Bielema to Arkansas, Tucker to MSU are the only major P5 to P5 hires in the last decade. Of those only Jimbo can be argued as elite.

Rabalais is a cuck who wants it to be tucker so he can lambast the fan base about being racist

There’s something in common with all those people you mentioned. I remember a few years ago someone looked at who was best to hire from data:
1. P5 Head Coach
2. P5 Coordinator
3. G5 Head Coach
I think that this is what the data showed as most successful. For me Aranda checks off two of those boxes by having success as a P5 coordinator and P5 head coach.
Getting an established P5 coach is a long shot but I like the idea of Aranda in the group of Aranda, Tucker or Napier. Tucker would be more of a gamble as he hasn’t shown a lot of success as a coordinator. And Napier is lower on my list because he hasn’t had much success as a P5 coordinator and isn’t a P5 HC.

I agree because I have zero belief that Jimbo is actually a candidate.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Jimbo was a massive hire for aTm because they aren't a great power. They are a blip on the college football radar. Still UT's try hard kid brother even when the big bro is a stung out disappointment working at the fast food "big 12"
LSU is above that and it would be a meh hire for a job of this stature. Tired of these fans walking around with their balls tucked away. We can and should get exactly who we want.

First black coach in lsu history
We shouldn't even need to have this conversation, but if Tucker gets hired, he will always be known as the 'woke' choice. Most fans do not have a problem with a black coach, or any minority coach, if he is truly the best choice. That being said, Tucker does not appear to fill those shoes, he is a reach...

Let's be honest. People are giving him too much credit when they assume he's just a moron.
He's carrying the water of the LSU administration.
It's absurd and not even arguable that Tucker has an "overall resume" that justifies this hire.
