Lol. I get this part. I thought he was suggesting something else.

Les makes promises.... he follows thru with said promises. Its his greatest quality yet his biggest downfall.

No. And great OC's don't demand '13 level quality talent before they can engineer and O that's functional.

Board of Supervisors.
I would love to hear the guys forking over the money ask Les a few questions. There are some questions that are simply indefensible. The amount of talent on this campus 2012-2014 does not match up with the number of L's in the loss column. Somebody is not doing their job very well.

some were miffed at his recent interest in UM

It wasn't the raise, it's what was guaranteed.
He knows Miles and Alleva don't even speak. He was well aware of the BOS stance.
He damn well felt like the clause will take effect.
It was personal in the end and he handled it poorly. More money, yes, but no expectations either. He essentially just retired. He sure as shite didn't go to a program with that offensive philosophy to play defense.

bitch I stay calm
And if Kirby had some magical script handed down from the ghost of Uga's past on how his coaching career needed to proceed, it would tell him to go be a head coach somewhere, not do the same exact job. Y'all have lost y'all's damn minds on this board.

Muschamp was able to get a top 5 job by doing "the exact same job" elsewhere

That's the problem Drunken, Kirby isn't even getting any sniffs for head coaching openings. Nobody wants to hire him because they all feel it's Saban's defense. He would take a decent head coaching opportunity if one was offered.

So Muschamp was DC under Saban, left to be DC in Austin, then landed a top 5 job at UF. Seemed to work out for him

holy shite that would be awesome. $1.7MM to mail it in

As would I... hell he could have had any mid level opening in the country. Just look at the stupid deal Chad Morris got.

Your question was asking "why would Smart do it?" and that was answered
