I won't sugarcoat it. Spinosa's investors were idiots for letting him sell them the idea that Baton Rouge could support quarter million dollar luxury apartments. The inability to sell/lease them is what killed that deal.
But the retail end of it has been pretty successful. Comparing it to a "strip mall" is just that idiot Gump venting over the fact that Saban may be leaving.

Cowherd (who I think is a hack) says Texas money is still after sabam. He said they are saying they will take care of his debt on some of these land deals and will pay him huge money. Now I don't think he leaves, but this isn't over quite yet.
