Hey, in case you didn’t know Louisiana and Mississippi are both making a lot of progress in reading and math scores. I know it doesn’t fit your narrative, but good things are happening with a lot of hard work.

I agree Louisiana has its problems for sure. The south also has the highest percentage of blacks so this affects everything especially with crime statistics. It also puts Louisiana at a disadvantage with education because blacks have lower test scores on average. As far as education Louisiana is moving rapidly in the right direction.
