We already have a lot of talent on the roster right now. With any hire, giving an "entire recruiting cycle," if I understand that correctly doesn't make much sense. I'm not saying that we need to win a natty or even make it to the playoffs. But we better fricking immediately stop getting embarrassed by Bama. Another shut out performance should not be tolerated.

how many? I say 9- 11 every year. So 10.

I would expect both to leave at some point prior to their deaths. And I would expect great replacements. Same as I would expect from any Head Coach.
Sorry to see you putting the sins of Les Miles squarely on Coach O's shoulders. He deserves a clean slate. Just like you got when you started giving blood at the blood bank.

what?
i mean he's getting similar criticism b/c he's an inferior version of Miles, if that's what you mean. his plan is basically "i'm not a good head coach so we have to pay our coordinators head coach money to be half of a head coach". that is literally the Miles gameplan, and Les is a better HC than O is. that's also plays into the "continuity" that Alleva was promoting
so i mean if criticisms are similar, that's b/c we made a similar hire
