I was never for the hire. When he was hired I supported him and wanted him to do well. I was very impressed with how a young team didn’t fold this year when it could have EASILY done so.
But this...frick this. You don’t get to have a power job based on previous failure with the promise of bringing in elite personnel and appoint your old buddies. This shite reeks.

I was never a fan of the hire but I didn't think it would get this bad. Especially not this quick. I figured this year would be an 8-9 win season, tail off next year, and scrape by to 5-6 wins season 3.
I didn't expect us to be hiring Rosy Finch high school baws and promoting Ensminger after season 1.
We're on course to blow past my already low expectations.

I never supported the hire, but I hoped it would work after the fact. I liked that he held onto Aranda and I was a big fan of the Canada hire last year. But this bullshite shows us where things are headed, and we have an unapologetic and cowardly arse of an AD who couldn’t give less of a damn and won’t do anything about it.
I have no hope unless both are gone, and even then we would still be stuck with Alexander. We are on track for Dean/Hallman if these two clowns hang around.

I’m a reasonable guy. I was willing to at least give the man a chance when he was named head coach. Promoting the TE coach to OC proves he was full of shite when he said he was going to get the best coordinators in the country to come here. I hope he proves me wrong, but I don’t see how this doesn’t end badly.

In fairness, this board was in full blown meltdown mode when the Herman hire went south into Saturday morning.
O was a bad hire. There were some signs of life last year, but this off-season confirms everyone's worst fears.
Strap in and watch the fireworks, and hope there's some kind of contingency plan in place to replace O for 2019. I'm thinking Aranda will get his shot, but we'll see.
