Most of the names mentioned are good coaches that could succeed here. The arguments on this board are typically based on everyone arguing for their personal favorite. Once a hire is made, the vast majority here will be happy or talk themselves into liking the coach bc the coach will undoubtedly be a good coach.

2019 the "genious" defense was the worse rated defense of any National Champion.
**LSU allowed 21.9 points per game.
**His defense allowed 344.2 yds per game.
**Ranked 31st nationally
**LSU gave up 25 points and 394 yds to Clemson
Torched for 614 yds by Ole Miss....402 rushing
Torched buy Bama for nearly 600 yds
If not for the greatest offense in the history of the NCAA we would not have come close to the N.C..thats the point.
AND..his 2020 recruiting class was rated #41 and this years class is #33

Just stating the facts. If he had never been at LSU no one would even know his name.
He hasn't been considered and will not be considered.
I have no clue who the coach will be but I know who it will not be....Aranda will not be the HC at LSU.
