How about 6-0 against ranked opponents, at freaking Houston.
That's good. Most of them were in his first season. Does losing to UCONN, Navy, SMU and Memphis make you feel better about beating a 21, 15, & 22 ranked Memphis, Navy and Temple last year?
Posted on 11/28/16 at 5:23 pm to Tiger Ree
Yea, we hired a guy who Dino Babers got a job over last year.

Or turning Cardale Jones into a stud that destroyed Alabama
Yeah, my bad. I forgot he was the head coach at Ohio State.

His entire resume is coaching under very successful coaches.
I guess you could say the same about O's shite resume

The dude finished his second year at 4-3 in his last seven games and lost to teams who had much less talent than him. Let him go the to the B12 and beat OU and lose to Kansas, Iowa State, and Texas Tech.
in what world does Houston have much more talent than SMU, Memphis, and Navy?

Dude lost to UCONN with a trip to the playoffs on the line. Fricking Uconn. And people on here complain about a 10pt loss to Bama and 1 inch away from 6-1 vs Florida for the Ogre

He'll be judge, on the loses coming. Not by me. Don't care what he does. NO STRIPES

You are an idiot if you are judging Tom Herman on those three games
You're an idiot if you don't!
He plays down to the competition. SMU rolled his arse and Navy scored 75 fricking points on SMU.
That is telling. He did well against Louisville because his team practices against that offense every day.
He had experienced starters back and was barely able to to stay above .500 in the AAC (whatever the frick that is). What that shows me is the more teams faced him, the more his game was figured out.
Cardell Jones was great at the end. Tall, mobile, and a GREAT running game with Urban Myer as his HC. You forget that little nugget. He made Tebow look like Montana, it wasn't all Herman at OSU

Like Chavis against Notre Dame. Our defense was atrocious but it was due to outside factors (like the team knowing he was leaving). It doesn't make him a bad DC in the least.
this lets me know you dumb ..

the real world. Which is every where other than the coaching changes board on Tiger Droppings.

Houston 52
SMU 76
Navy 124

Right. Why in the heck would you want to judge a coach on his win/loss record? Are you crazy?

Oh look, Tiger Ree is back to tell everyone how terrible Herman is.
Should we bump his Louisville thread for fun?

O finished 2-2 in his last 4 games

Well he was part of the staff that won a title at Ohio State, he wasn't the HC when they did that or ever at Ohio State!
Really? So that was all Urban Meyer developing JT Barrett and Cardsle Jones?
Look at how they have struggled at QB since Herman left
Posted on 11/28/16 at 5:39 pm to Tiger Ree
Oh look. "Lyin Ree" crawled out from under his rock to spew more non sense. I was hoping they banned you. Do we need to shame you some more so you go away again?

I'll bet every one of you on here that Texas will have a better record than LSU every year that Herman and Orgeron are the coaches

He finished fifth in the American League and had the most talented team. That should tell you all you need to know. People here thought he would beat Saban and win the SEC and NC and he can't even finish in the top 3 of a shitty conference with the MOST TALENTED TEAM.

According to LSU fans, Herman and Jimbo used LSU for leverage and the ONLY coach in all of football at any level, including all position coaches -- is Coach O.
SO, given this Truth, I support Coach O.
I will say that if only one guy in the whole country is the only one who wanted to coach your team, that doesn't say much about your team.
