Yeah, his loss to UCLA at home was pretty bad. The Florida loss wasn't pretty either.

But, it still beats the hell out of losing to UCONN, Navy, getting your arse kicked by SMU and losing to Memphis.

Texas will miss Charlie Strong.
You are incredibly stupid.

You fell off the Earth for a bit after the Louisville game, good to see you back fighting the anti-herman fight. I don't agree with any of what you're saying though.

When Coach O fails to deliver on his binder of dreams, I hope people like you show up and own up to how wrong you were about him.

Nick Saban lost to UAB and ULM. Every coach has bad losses. Those things happen. Doesn't turn a great coach into a crappy one. Got to expand your view to see the bigger picture.

Yeah, a little thing called vacation popped up. I was going back to Cali, to Cali, to Cali, but I went the other way and wound up in Louisiana.

You don't agree because you were hit with the Herman stick and know no better. A guy who did much worse in his second year and finished 4-3 in his last seven losing to Navy, SMU and Memphis.

Nick Saban lost to UAB and ULM in his first year on the job. The year after he lost to ULM he lost to two teams - the #4 and #6 teams in the country. He did not lose to unranked less talented teams in his second year.

You are really comparing a guy who has been a head coach for two years to Nick Saban? There are other shitty coaches to compare the one-year-wonder to.

His entire resume is coaching under very successful coaches. I don't give him credit for beating Alabama years ago when Urban was the coach at OSU.

Cool. We'll throw out all of Herman's years as an assistant or coordinator and stick with his 22-4 record as a head coach. Next we'll throw out all of O's years as an assistant and keep his years as a head coach. You can even keep his interim record if you so choose.

Now compare the resumes and tell me how stupid you are.

He was a head coach for 5 years before coming to LSU, no?

Okay, let's do this year.

CEO has a 5-2 record with a loss to the best team in the country and #23 ranked Florida.

Herman in the same time span is 4-3 with losses to Navy, SMU and Memphis. He has more talent than all three teams he lost to.

You want to pay the 4-3 guy $7 million to get his arse kicked in the SEC?

You'll have to wait a few years for judgement on Herman since he still has not accomplished anything without other coach's players.

Going by his very short stint as a HC, it looks like he gets worse as more of the former staff's players leave the program.

Herman's wife is a gold digging snotty bitch. She will fit in great here in Austin with the fake crowd that is presently ruining the weird and funky vibe of the city.

I'll call Florida a 14 point point underdog instead.

But its ok to give credit to O with other coach's players? Nice.

I bookmarked this thread Because I think you are wrong about Herman. He is the real deal. Houston had what 4 decent players. Give him a palace to work at, and then I will make my official judgement.. But I think my assertions are right about Herman. Only thing that could be prevent him from winning at UT is UT.

22-4 is underachieving and yet we hired Ed Orgeron and his abysmal record.

This has to be the dumbest board on the planet. No wonder Alleva went through with it.

CEO was recruiting coordinator for 3 years before becoming interim coach at USC. Herman was not a part of Houston for 3 years and his first year was entirely with the previous staff's players. It's a fact no matter how you try to spin it.
