They just wanted a yes man who will do what he’s told. Plus verge knows “where all the bodies are buried”, he can’t be fired

you cannot conduct a legitimate football search at LSU with an interim AD. No one worth a shite is coming here without knowing who their boss will be.

The timing of things forced LSU's hand with this move.
