It would be kind of crazy to assume that.
It’s 100x more likely that he thought we had Riley until last night...and then was surprised to find out about USC this morning.
That means he’s just getting started TE-starting the process.

So ask yourself this genius...if he has his guy why is he not announced yet? Verbal agreements are not set in stone and is a dangerous line to play right now with the coaching circle drying up.

Well, the OP's last thread was on the 20th. Feldman said on the 17th that Riley was not happening. Shea was pretty consistent over the last week saying he hadn't been hearing Riley. Dellinger basically said he had no idea what was going on.
The timeline suggests it's certainly possible Riley was never the guy, and this place ignored everything they didn't want to hear.
