James Franklin would make me rage.
As I've said before, if options 1 and 2 fade away, I'm in with Eric Morris

I will never walk away from being a Tiger fan.Ive lived through Cholly Mac to now and every year I anticipate the season no matter who the coach has been, and we’ve had some bad ones.I lived through the worst ,Stovall,Hallman,Archer, average ones Dinardo,O,BK ,to very good at times Les to great NS.Every season I can’t get enough info heading into the season. So for me it’s support who ever they hire and hope for the best.

I learned the following lesson many moons ago:
LSU hired a head football coach that had a 7-28 career record. I thought that the newspaper must have made a mistake, surely that cannot be correct. I spoke with a football coach from my past, a gentleman who had played for LSU, and his advice was give the man a chance, he is one of the best defensive coaches in America. Still skeptical, I said why not. That coach was Bill Arnsparger who went on to do an outstanding job as the HC at LSU. Lesson learned.

If a coach being hired is going to cause you to walk away from being a fan, just go ahead and do so. I lived thru the 80s and 90s without seeing LSU have much success. Some good years and some bad years.
I was in the south upper end zone when they gave prizes out between quarters and kids running over to the empty seat to claim the prize. That was more interesting than the product on the field.
I don't care who the coach is. I will cheer for LSU football regardless. I will be frustrated when they play poorly and I will be happy when they play great bi won't abandon them bc of a coach.

And some of the coaches being listed win 80% of their games.

Kelvin Sheppard OR James Franklin OR Frank Wilson. I'm not a Mediocrity Acceptor like many Louisiana residents on here and in the LSU fan base. The only names I would get excited about are Saban and Kiffin. Nobody else!
