Why wouldn't he? A state with talent and money for it plus a history of success. He might not want to because we have standards.

I think it has to be a mix and LSU's recruiting classes just have a higher floor than Ole Miss'.
I think he can do the same things in the portal here as he does there.

It is staggering how few LA kids are starting either side of the ball. I can remember us starting 10 LA kids on defense in the ‘01 Sugar Bowl. Some of this is Kelly not prioritizing state kids, but the money is definitely spreading the talent.

There just isn’t any money in the state of Mississippi. Their fans can wear seersucker and talk about the lost cause and pretend they are nobility but it doesn’t change the fact that the state of Mississippi and ole miss’s alumni can’t match whatever number LSU will throw at Kiffin. His ceiling at ole miss’s is limited and he knows this.
