I think Lincoln Riley will end up at FSU, if it opens up. He is scared of SEC competition and is running from the Big 10.

Gruden at Arkansas?
As ridiculous as it sounds it actually makes sense. He’s finally done with the NFL (lawsuit) and has not been available for college at any point until now. He has a long relationship with Lane who’s proving you can build a playoff program at any SEC school in the NIL era if you have coaching and money. The pressure is lower at a school like Arkansas too. These days you have a GM and huge staff so Gruden could outsource anything he would be bad at. Gruden is both good at coaching and speaking which are necessary in the new era. He’s someone who could convince the Waltons and other Arky big wigs to give him top end NIL funding. He’s also a great offensive mind and motivator of players who are being paid. He’s been running a QB camp so he has recent experience with college QB’s
It makes sense on every level

I know who I want them to go after but I just don't think its going to happen. I think they are going to spend far too much time trying to get Kiffin or a big name and its not going to work out.

How is Lincoln Riley leaving USC when his buyout is estimated at 80-90 million?
How much would he owe USC if he left?

USC would for sure be willing to negotiate. If Lincoln comes in and says, hey, I want to go to Auburn/LSU/Florida because I'm not happy here any more but it you have to have that buy out, I'll just stick around and see what happens. USC won't want that guy around and they will negotiate to a much much lower buyout. They can do that or know they are screwed the next year or two with a coach that is not going to give a crap about what happens.

A time machine. Which we use to bring 2007 Nick Saban to the future.
