we may very well have lost out on an SEC and perhaps a NC in 2006 by having to play at Florida
Doesn't hold any water, H.

Definitely lost the chance to beat Florida in the SECCG. Sure, LSU lost to the Gators in the regular season, but they could have had a shot at the end of the year, when they were playing better, if the scheduling wasn't powermatched.

Denver Post reporting CU in the South with new (old?) rival Utah, the Arizona and LA schools. Part of the deal for CU to jump. Their biggest alumni base on the west coast is in LA, and most of their recruiting is in that area as well.
Definitely the toughest division until Washington gets back.

Zona is in better shape right now imo.....UCLA still needs a little time but I think you're right, they will be the main attraction in LA again but will most likely have to deal with Utah as well who isn't a pushover. Neuweasle throws a hell of a rape party so I never count him out.

CFL said that the California schools don't want to be split into different divisions and that the Oregon and Washington schools want to be in the same division as the Cali schools. Oregon has more sway, so I bet it ends up looking like this.
Pacific-12 North
Colorado
Arizona
Arizona State
Utah
Washington
Washington State
Pacific-12 South
Oregon
Oregon State
California
Southern California
Stanford
UCLA
How bad does the Pac-12 North look? It looks like another version of the old BigXII.
