I’m fascinated with people that choose to wear masks. I wore them when I was required to but I don’t understand why anyone would wear one by choice. It’s weird at this point when we now know they don’t provide very much if any protection.

One theory I posted 2 years ago here was homeostasis. People have different levels of risk tolerance. But another thing I've noticed among older people is male subjection to female demands.
When you are 75 and don't have fear but your wife demands you wear a mask then it is easier to comply than tell her to STFU.
In stores I've noticed that single male older shoppers don't wear. But with wife, they do.

Fear only lives in the absence of God, the Bible says fear not 366 times. You can't go through life scared of everything. It only lowers your immune system. Which is why the media pump fear all day every day.
