How stupid do you feel wearing a mask for the proceeding two weeks waiting for that magic end date to arrive? Does any part of you still not realize how absurd it all is/was?

Some of the lib zombies will continue to wear the face diapers. Which is a good thing, seems to be considerable amount of inbreeding amongst them and the faces reflect that.

Absolutely. There’s 2 in my office who continue to do this even though no one else does because the governor lifted the mandate in October. Funny also how John Bel Edwards never put the mask mandate back even amidst the height of the Omicron outbreak because he’s in political trouble right now. Suddenly he thinks they don’t work I guess.

How about 10 minutes, or an hour, before the deadline that the mandate ends. Do you think the risk is any more then, than an hour later?
How about a day earlier? 3 days? A week?
FYI I don’t remember the last time I wore a mask.

Literally the same thing I've said any time they were going to start a new mandate or remove one.

If it's an emergency, then why wait until next week? If we don't need it, why are we still fricking doing it?!?

one of my favorites always was during a Wednesday presser, announcing the mandate will go into affect on Friday. so all of Wednesday and Thursday, we're protected by the heavens above, but come Friday, this virus is even worse, so mask up bitches!!!

Edwards is term limited. He's done as Governor after this term. He has no political future. He just got tired of wearing the fricking mask like everyone else probably.

People should feel stupid for wearing a useless mask when you wear a respirator for protection against paint and chemical fumes

I have a small Mom/Pop local grocery store near me (in Baton Rouge) where I like to shop and they still have the "Mask Mandate" signs on the entrance doors. The staff is still wearing masks and female worker wears a mask and a face shield (like you would use if you are using a grinder to grind some steel parts). I understand they get a lot of customers each day coming from who knows from where and they made need to protect themselves, but at this point it is all moot.
