As good as Crews is… he doesn’t seem to have the clutch gene. Anytime we need a big hit, he gets an out. Fire away bitches

Prepare yourself. I made a negative peep about Crews and got publicly executed

I said he was good. He’s going to make millions. Doesn’t take away from the fact that I’ve watched him get an out every at bat this weekend when we needed a big hit with runners in scoring position.

Too few games to be a trend. Last year he had many clutch hits. He also has Berry and it takes a minute to find your voice when new studs come on board. We’ll be just fine.

I wonder how many threads you’ll start after Crews RBIs this season?

I think you're painting with too broad a brush.

The issue with Crews last year was he was batting with no one on base. He's had some opportunities this weekend but it would be very wrongheaded to paint the whole season because of this weekend.

Bad baseball analysis.

If you watched last year you would know this is not true.

I’m at every game, and I love LSU baseball… so I hope I’m totally wrong.

I’m beginning to think crews is the Kirk cousins of college baseball, with all of his stats coming in “garbage time”. His stats are certainly looking very hollow.

And weren’t about 85% of his homers last season solo shots?

Thanks for validating my point. Batting with no one on base, is a lot different than having someone in scoring position for most of your at bats.

Everybody wants to win these games this weekend bro but it’s way too early for labeling don’t you think?

Crews and Berry with runners on base have been absolute dogshit.

He’s 19. Is he not allowed to grow as a player like anyone else and develop that clutch gene when put it pressure situations? He has to fail a little to understand when and where his team needs him and how he can execute. It’s also baseball. He’s going to get out 60-70% of the time.

This might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen posted on this board.

Maybe because he was our leadoff hitter for a large part of the year? with Milazzo hitting before him?

Dumb take. He hit lead off most of the year last season.
