I'm curious what kind of President this board thinks he would have been.

IDK, but he had one of the best quotes I've ever heard on taxes:

'I've paid enough taxes to get a front row seat to Utopia and I'm still waiting for the curtain to go up.'

When I was a kid there was this novelty item called a "pet rock", just a rock painted or whatever.

ANY rock could do better than Biden, but I will say I've thought a business man, a real money guy, could get this country straight.............like Trump did.

Perot would have done fine, or compare him to what we have now and tell me the difference.

It would be more interesting to know what would have came of the American political system had he won.

Perot was Trump before Trump in terms of populism and was deeply distrustful of the alphabet agencies. He HATED GHWB mainly because of his actions with the CIA. He was also obsessed with the deficit/debt. He would have had a similar issue to Trump though in terms of trying to change the swamp while having very few if any connections within the swamp. It was a different time though so maybe he could have had success.

I just wish he would have run as a Republican instead of splitting the vote and giving us Clinton.

He would have been great if he'd ever been elected.

Sadly, only about 25% of our people could understand his common sense economics with the display boards he presented during his campaign.

Would not have needed a Trump. Voted for him as a teenager. Had never seen a candidate whip out charts.

He probably wouldve been similar to Trump with common sense ideas, but with thicker skin, and a media that wasnt so partisan. So he wouldve probably been great.

Ive been saying it and will say it again...We need more self made outsiders to get into politics. Enough with the career politicians leeching off they system and making back room deals to climb the political ladder.

Was the first time I was old enough to vote in a Presidential election and I voted for Perot. Still think he would’ve been good and no doubt better than the alternatives he was running against.

The roadblocks trump faces attempting to do anything would have been magnified 10x. No party to draw support from in congress, no party to draw nominations from, no advocates to push policy.

Winning is generally the worst thing that can happen to 3rd parties.

Me too. Just think with those ears how much we could have slashed the intelligence agencies.

Perot at the second debate with Bush and Clinton where he dropped the famous "giant sucking sound" quote to describe NAFTA:

Are you implying Bush Sr. would have been any better?

No, just describing third party votes generally.
