This seems like a bad idea, and a politically motivated idea since there are still January 6 protestors in jail without bond. This man shot up a mall for goodness' sake

A South Carolina judge set a $25,000 bond for a suspect in a mall shooting on Saturday that left 14 people injured, according to the Columbia Police Department.
Jewayne Price, 22, will be on house arrest but allowed to travel to and from work while wearing an ankle monitor if he posts bond.
His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Did the Supreme Court nominee make this decision?

Never forget South Carolina resurrected the candidacy of Joseph Biden which was left for dead until his old buddy James Clyburn came to his rescue. This bail is straight out of the Obama / Biden / Harris / Garland. Ketanji/ Keagan & wise Latino woman playbook.

I guess things like being a danger to the community are no longer considered for setting bail. Shooting up a mall seems like it would fall under that category.

Was just a case of mistaken identity . That being it was someone to kill and didn’t so therefore it is innocent

Shot a 15 and a 73 year old. Two people need to be in jail, the judge and the shooter.

Lol. How about attempted homicide? I’m sure there are a ton of charges they can throw at this person but didn’t or haven’t. That’s bs.

This is what you get when a society and it’s government hold no expectations for you and provide excuses for anything you do.

It's actually at least 14 counts of attempted homicide. However many bullets were fired were randomly squeezed to inflict murder. I would add some kind of terrorism charge, too, since the attack was on a random, soft target.
