Do you believe casinos cheat?

Whether it’s modifying the decks in blackjack during certain periods vs other methods to alter the table games?
Granted the odds are typically in their favor, but there are enough sharks that study these games as well. Always seems suspicious the way some of these games play out.

100% yes they do. There's no way someone can own something and make a profit when their primary source of income is gambling. I mean I get its possible but how many people do you know that have won more than lost there? Because I don't know any

No, the odds are already in their favor. They love it when a customer hits big, that just causes 100 other people to lose, trying to do the same.

They don't cheat. They dont havw to, people are just stupid.
I learned that in Vegas when I went to the cheap table and then realized it was 6:5 blackjack payout and that its a continuous five deck shuffle. Gave them my 100 dollars anyways.

It's called law of large numbers. All of the games have the house winning. Sure one or two people may make it big but overtime the Casino will always win more than they lose because they are favored in every game

Just seems odd to me that there’s small windows of people winning, but then these consistent droughts where everyone is losing regardless of what table they’re sitting at. Not just a few, but everyone getting drained for a duration of time. This keeps the smart people or sharks in check.
It’s like their quota period then they go back to playing it straight up (with odds still in their favor of course).

They also have max limits so you cant just hit once and bankrupt them
It doesnt even matter anyways. Most of the degens are just playing slots which simply wont pay out more than bet

I used to be a dealer and a supervisor. Time is on the casinos side. Odds in their favor
Plenty of people win. They are just stupid and give it back.
Also if a casino was caught cheating Nobody would go there. They make plenty of money off stupid people. No reason to cheat.

I know a LOT of people who claim they win more than they lose. Some claim to win all the time. I also know a LOT of people who are full of shite.

Don't have to. Even when the customer plays the game perfectly, the house still has a substantial edge. Most people don't play it perfectly.

Absolutely not. It would be impossible to get away with. They are heavily regulated and have too much employee turnover to keep that a secret.

I used to go to them when I was underage (19-20 but probably looked about 16 lol). If I was losing money they let me play. If I started winning they asked me for ID.

I used to represent a casino and they don’t have to. i remember shifts where they actually lost money on blackjack or craps, but over time they win because of law of large numbers are the odds are so slightly in the their favor, no if you can chance those odds, like a card counter and find a casino using single decks then the odds will slightly be in your favor

That's what I came to mention. They don't cheat, they don't have to. But if they think you are counting, they will absolutely take your shite and bar you and share that info with every other casino.
