I am a conservative now

I was a Clinton Democrat, brought up with stories of JFK, over the last few years I have become more grossed out. Here’s why:
-What happened during the summer of love was wrong. Every American saw what happened. How can you be pro riot and destruction of property.
-Defund the police, see Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans. Who is in charge?
-I was brought up to believe in content of character, who are the real racists?
-I feel like I was forced to take a vaccine that was unproven.
-I realized the media is lying to me.
-I have seen free speech curbed via social media, as a young democrat I thought ‘frick you I’ll say what I please.’ And reveled in it. It pains me to think a new generation won’t have that.
-I don’t think men in drag are appropriate for children.
-We are the only country in the world that just lets people cross our border.
-I believe we have lost our American camaraderie and will to work, not right to work, the will, to make our collective society better.
-We spend way too much money (both sides) but this is outrageous.
-On what planet do we just let people run into stores, grab what they want and run back out?
-Maybe I’m old fashioned, but a man can’t get pregnant, for obvious reasons.
-All of the above and more, and the the hypocrisy of the people pushing it

Oh I’m ultra, it’s cost me a relationship. But there’s right and wrong. This is an easy one. And I’m willing to bet that there is a whole lot more people out there like me. I’ll tell you it started during early Covid, I didn’t work for a year (by the grace of god we were retained and paid) so i sat there and watched Jake trapper look like he was going to cry everyday and just thought ‘what a pussy, this isn’t news.’ I think everyone remembers CNN’s performance during those early day’s. What courage and leadership.

This thought is thread worthy. I think it’s amazing how quickly this seems to have become so widespread. We have become a society that tries to extract as much money out of each other and then deliver the least amount of effort in return
Either way, we are counting on people like you. It baffles me how he past few years haven’t woken people up. The biggest issues on the world stage have been not only used but promoted strictly as a tool of manipulation. Our economy has been permanently altered as a result, which have become immediately almost apparent and are met with the response that what we are seeing is not real. It’s just the beginning.
It baffles me that people that called themselves liberals 10-20 years ago don’t feel completely left behind by the party they support.
