The ticket websites have seats at the 50 yard line for under $200
Vivid Seats

StubHub

I don't get it.
Sure, its not at night, but this game offers everything else:
-great weather
-top 10 ranked opponent
-LSU is favored to win against an old rival
-LSU just won a huge game on the road
-LSU control's their own destiny to win the SEC west
-game is not at 11AM

why is this game not a tough ticket?

Most people wasted their money on the Tennessee game so it is once bitten twice shy!

There is always an excuse for apathetic laziness in the current edition of our fan base. It's always too much trouble to arrive before kickoff and cheer loudly until the game ends.

Everyone knows you go to the game and buy cheap lower bowl tickets from the rich people wanting to get to their box seats..

You left out the last big home game where people showed up at 11 AM against a highly ranked opponent and LSU got their teeth kicked in. They win against OM and people will come back.

I'll be there, but you do realize people enjoy other things other than LSU football right?

I think you mean most LSU fans sold their tickets to Tennessee fans, so they should have some extra cash for this game.

So we're down to using the USC/UCLA excuse. It's simple. Our fans are not nearly as good as they once were.

Tiger Stadium once earned a reputation as THE best atmosphere in college football. It is now living off that past reputation.

We - the collective LSU fan base - got spoiled rotten with success.

- spoiled fanbase. Title or bust
- covid drove some away
- O drove some away

There's been a ton of empty seats for every game. Even State and TN games were way below capacity.

This would be true if most of the stadium was filled with Tennessee fans

Our fans aren't like they used to be. People don't like to hear that but it's true.

Unless they were dressed in orange, this isn't true.

Stadium is too big for college football in todays environment. Need to go the NFL route with 70-80 thousand seat stadiums.

2 losses. Skepticism. Too much trouble.
But it ebbs and flows.

As for me, I no longer have a reason to go to BR so it’s not likely I will attend many more games.
