I don't think LSU was necessarily scared of bama between 2015-2018, but you could tell that they didn't believe they could beat bama anymore. 2019 Joe lifted the curse and last year a terrible LSU team punched Bama in the mouth for most of the game. Kelly has gotten wooped twice by Saban now. So will LSU actually believe they can beat bama the next two weeks or will they be in our heads.

They have never been scared of them.
They’ve mostly been evenly matched & then we get out coached after the Bye week.

We finally have a competent coach in charge & the team will be ready.

As far as I'm concerned, the curse was lifted in 2019. Bama might be the better team this year, but they're definitely beatable.

Shouldn’t be. Team is getting to the point where they believe they can win.

I doubt it but Bama is still a roster full of 5 stars and hand chosen 4 stars backed up by more of the same, and coached by Nick Saban. This won’t be easy even if we play well. They should be hitting stride right about now.

Won’t matter because …...

Bama’s jerseys don’t have any lettering on them

Most of our players grew up in Louisiana, so no, they're not scared of anything

Did you ever play any sport when you were young?

Your questions tells me you did not. Or if you did, you got your arse kicked regularly.

No athlete that's not an f-in loser EVER went into any game scared or assuming they would lose.

An LSU staff full of bums took them to the final bell just last season. Hopefully that's still fresh in both teams' minds.

Leonard Fournette believed he could beat Alabama. Sometimes having belief isn’t what’ll carry you over the finish line, especially when the competition you’re going against is just as good as you are. And especially when the coaching you’re going against, is light years better than the coaching you are receiving.

A lack of believing isn’t what the issue was or is. Every LSU team that has played Alabama since 2001, really believed they were going to beat Alabama.

When I was at ULM, and we played Baker Mayfields OU team, the entire team ran out of the tunnel that day, believing we were going to beat the Oklahoma Sooners. 60 seconds later the game was already over with and OU had it in the bag.

This is in our favor with Coach Kelly. Now,Alabama may win big.But while Kelly respects Saban and Alabama, he doesn't wet himself like some coaches we have had.

I think there will be a different mindset.

I know you're just making a point, but everyone knows Bama's jerseys don't have "Bama" written on them.

And they're not red, they're crimson.
