Are LSU fans actually mad about storming the field against Alabama? I can understand not wanting to storm after Ole Miss... but we hadn't beaten Bama at home in 12 years; we also did it with a team that no one suspected to be this good. They had like 36 scholarship players when BK came in for crying out loud! Let Us Have Fun.

Because some random twitter handle named "Hairy Done" is reflective of LSU fans at large.

The best part of it for me was the video of the Bama AD screaming at security to “do your fricking job” as thousands of people came on the field.

Utoob 15-20 second mark

I don’t think it’s the AD but I’d assume a member of the dept with the coat on.

I did not like storming the field for beating Ole Miss. We’re supposed to beat Ole Miss.

I’m fine with it for Alabama considering we hadn’t beaten them at home in 12 years, and it’s actually been a rare occurrence since 1969.

It was fear of scaring Burton and him slapping one of our women in his fear.

It was the Sec West championship, two years ahead of schedule. It’s allowable.

Oh, and LSU won in Baton Rouge for the 5th time in over 50 years!!

I didn’t see this. Was that on the ESPN broadcast or a random video?

I thought it was weird after Ole Miss, but that was mostly the students. But after Bama, it's completely justified. So much so that we don't even care about the SEC fine.

The fans deserved to storm the field for that one. Long overdue win at home against them!. Now, let's continue to beat them and there will be no need to storm the field ever again

Click the link... it's a guy on Twitter who seems to think he speaks for the entire fanbase ?? that's why I posted this with quotation marks around the word fan. Seems like he's the type to be a fly-by-night and only support when we're beating other teams down, but that's just me.

I think it was Bama video. They were ushering Saban off the field and he was behind them in a tizzy. I’ll see if I can find it. It was posted on the rant earlier today.

Right? Even if he is an LSU fan seems more like a fly-by-night fan right? The type to only support us when we're beating other teams down.

this number keeps getting smaller and smaller. the fact is that we only had 39 scholarship players AVAILABLE for the bowl game. there were numerous scholarship players hurt or suspended or otherwise not eliglible to play that game. yes, our count was down but not near as low as quoted. in today's game there are players that transfer out or draft eligible guys that opt out from bowl games, especially lower tier games. Kelly did a great job with adding transfers and signing a new class. to some extent, this problem of players eligible to play in a bowl game happens every year and will continue going forward.

I'd hope so. Ain't not way our own fans would cannibalize our fun that badly lol. Made an account here just to ask this though because I was genuinely curious to know if people felt this way why they would.

I don’t really care about this shite one way or the other, but a part of me kind of thought it would have been great to do this after beating Ole Miss and then NOT after we beat Bama.

Anyone bitching, complaining is JEALOUS!

Green with Envy over a CELEBRATION!

(the "woke" one's that are really obviously sick, scary neurotic are those that attempt to use the "SECURITY" issue/excuse to hide their extreme jealousy, hatred of not being a part of the greatest fan base, stadium, game day environment since the Olympics in Greece)

Point still stands. The cuppard was pretty bare when BK took over. I'm just happy we won but came here to see what the real hard-core fans would say about this level of trolling because I can't believe one of our own would actually say this.

You think this guy was drunkenly squaring up with Saban or drunkenly giving the double thumbs up?
