Two things can be true at once. DeSantis has done a good job as governor AND he can be the establishment’s pick to go against their worst enemy. Otherwise, how could they even be competitive?
Note the key goal below from the DeSantis mega donor: (1) Stop the populist movement and (2) get the republican party back in alignment with the multinational “corporate world.”
They fed you a narrative and now that you believe it, you think there’s a solution to stop the bleeding.
People want a solution, they want hope. Very similar to what happened with COVID. Some of us knew the virus wasn’t deadly to people with healthy immune systems. Some of us knew there was medical tyranny taking place. Some of us knew the vaccine wasn’t an actual vaccine. Some of us knew there was a bigger agenda behind all of this. We were proven right, but the rest went along with the narrative they were handed because they were gullible and thought there was a solution. There was no solution, there was only tyranny that eventually backed off once their agenda was met. They got millions to comply. They were able to enforce unconstitutional measures without resistance. They were able to commit election fraud with the new mail-in ballots. They were able to enrich themselves with all the money made from the jab you accepted.
Now they have an agenda to get rid of MAGA once and for all and many of you are falling for it.

I’m not falling for anything. They can announce “we have an agenda to get rid of maga once and for all.” My reaction: “I’m listening.”

None of this matters. Trump can’t win because he’s polarizing and the rigged system won’t allow him to win. Desantis can only win if he toes the uni party line. Slice it however you want, the people who want this nation to remain great will lose.

True, Trump was actually part of that problem honestly but you can certainly kind of understand why he had to handle Covid and the vaccine the way he did.
You know who said frick all that? Ron DeSantis.
It can both be true that the GOPe see DeSantis as their best hope to defeat Trump AND that DeSantis is actually a good conservative candidate THAT CAN WIN. That last part is kind of important. Whether it is bullshite, weakminded, etc or not - Trump has alienated too much of the electorate to win. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat if he was on the ballot because I think he was and would be a great President. But I honestly don't think there is any way he wins. Unfortunately part of what makes Trump great also has made him unelectable. It sucks but it doesn't make it not true.

Trump won both times he ran. He was wrong about the vaccine, but other than that he was an amazing President.
They fed us a narrative that he can’t win and that it’s his fault republicans didn’t do as good as expected. That’s the whole point of this post. It’s not true.
If the GOP is running with DeSantis, they would only do so if it means the government can continue being corrupt without the worry of being exposed by someone like Trump.
Again, DeSantis can be a good governor while also being the solution to the establishment’s Trump problem. They need someone competitive. While I’m ok with the job DeSantis has done, I’m not ok with him getting in the White House if it means the government is still going to run wild with corruption and no one EXPOSE it to the people. I don’t want to live in the matrix where we pretend it doesn’t exist. I know some want to pretend it doesn’t exist so they don’t have to deal with “drama” or inconvenient truths, but I prefer an inconvenient truth any day over a comforting lie.
The uni-party establishment also does not want anyone in the White House who won’t get on board with globalism. Just remember that when they endorse people you like.
