Can someone explain the benefits of a GOP controlled house?

I think for starters Dems won’t have a 100% stranglehold of the Legislative Branch, which is a good thing. Might slow down Biden’s outrageous spending, which could help bring down inflation somewhat.
I won’t hold my breath waiting for R’s to run articles of impeachment, investigate Fauci, or do anything that requires having balls.
That’s pretty much it right? Besides obviously Nancy Pelosi not being Speaker of the House anymore.

Explain the consequences of a democrat-controlled house first.

The only good thing it’s gonna do is show us what Republicans are rhinos when they vote with Biden to pass a bunch of terrible bills

In theory yes, but if the R's have a 220 majority, there's def 3 cucks in that group that would vote the D's way on a lot of things.

Deter Biden’s open check book/freak show ideaology & subpoena power on investigations.

Constitutionally, spending bills begin in the House. Non new spending without house approval

No Nancy Pelosi is good enough for me

I am hoping for gridlock. If they cant do anything maybe they wont screw things up worse than they already are.
If you find yourself in a hole the first thing to do is stop digging.

The biggest thing is to thwart Dem rubber stamped legislation and holding committee chairs to make rules out of thin air...oh sorry only Dems play like that...but anyway, holding the chair and committee posts is huge.

Cock blocking WH legislative efforts and dog and pony investigative shows.

If Republicans are in the majority in the House, it makes it all but impossible for the Democrats to amend our statutes to change the current structure of the Supreme Court, increase the number of justices, and thereby “pack” it. This holds true for just about any moronic bad idea the Democrats might have in future which they could do if they had control of both houses of Congress and the Presidency.

There isn’t one. There is only one party: Politicians.

Theoretically for this ^^^ to be true there has to be real conservatives who call themselves Republicans in the House.
I don’t think 50% of the Republicans who are in the House and Senate would meet the definition of an America First conservative….probably less.

The crazy inflation inducing spending bills that Biden signed into law would not have passed a Republican house.

Stuff like this is meaningless theatre. Same as what the Dems have been doing.
The real benefit is having control of committees which impact which bills are heard on the floor.

Gridlock.
I absolutely LOVE gridlock.
If not one damn spending bill passes in two years I am thrilled.
