The not a great candidate argument is so sheepish.

Federman is not a great candidate.
Katie Hobbs, who never debated is not a great candidate.
You want to call warnock a better candidate than Walker, fine. However, he was not a great candidate either.
The entire argument comes from McConnell.
You fall right in line with the division they want. Republicans and democrats have done nothing “for the people” in 40 years. Once you realize they are for maintaining their position and will help each other do it, then you may vote a little differently.
This was never about trump. It was about someone who is an outsider from the same ole shitty politicians. That’s both, D and R.
I got news, McConnell, Romney, Collins, Graham, etc, are not for you and are not really republicans.
You want to know why McConnell wants the opposition? He keeps his position. Had those candidates won, he’s out as leader.
America needs to vote non incumbent if they want someone for them. A politician that’s been in there for 40 years is not for the people.

Democrats vote for policy, doesn't matter who the candidate is.
They know how to win elections.

They won’t listen. TDS is too strong for them to see past Trump.

Most republicans are sheepish, no different than radical leftists. That's why Mitch has been in power so long and has once again effortlessly brainwashed republicans over the past two years.

Is it weird that I’ve been voting for over 30 years (and extremely rarely voting for anyone I truly WANT) and yet only recently have I ever seen such handwringing over the “quality” of candidates?
Hell, I’ve voted for more shite candidates than “quality” candidates in my lifetime, but only NOW is it the biggest issue for our concern?

Lolololol.
Here’s a fella who has no idea what a Lieutenant Governor does. You wake up in the morning. Check your texts and emails to make sure the Governor didn’t die, then you go to a Rotary lunch.

It’s possible for both candidates in a race to be bad candidates. Ultimately voters have tk choose between the two options. Fetterman and Oz were both bad candidates. Ultimately, Fetterman connected more with PA voters and earned their votes. Walker and Warnock were both bad candidates, but Warnock connected more with GA voters and won.
Elections are won in then margins in swing states, not with party loyalists.

Didn't Hillary Clinton lose to Trump? Including in some states that hadn't voted R for President since 1988? Bad D candidates don't always win.
And just because some bad D candidates win does not mean that we should nominate bad candidates, too. You don't want ads running saying that your nominee paid for abortions and beat his wife. Latham Saddler, Gary Black, etc, have not done those things. As a Christian of course I believe in forgiveness but this isn't about anyone's eternal soul. It just politics and a nominee like that is not worth the trouble.

So we agree the best candidate won? Sounds like the system is working?

He was a Mayor for 13 years before that also.

No it doesn’t. At all. Pretty much everyone outside of the most hardened Trump loyalists have said it from the moment Trump endorsed Walker.

This is a wholly inaccurate description of the process of a guy hiding from a campaign process. They may have connected with the campaign. They didn’t connect with him.

However you want to splice it. He did more than Oz to win over PA voters.

He was Mayor of a town of less than 2,000 people. It’s a glorified HOA position.

No. “He” did not. He’s almost retarded. His campaign (including his accomplices in the media) did. He didn’t do anything.

The entire comparison is absurd to begin with. John Fetterman will never be relevant to whether Herschel Walker was a bad candidate, or the fact that Republican candidates don’t enjoy the level of blind party support in purple areas that Democrat candidates often do.
