Move more, eat less. Maybe give us more info on where you’re at and where you’re trying to be?

Sounds expensive. What’s your current diet and activity level like?

Try to watch eating but living in south La that’s hard to do. Ha
Pretty active.

i mean opt will work but its very very restrictive.
whats your height and weight? age?
do you lift weights? if not, are you willing to start
any pre existing conditions?
sorry for all the questions but cant really give recommendations without it
in general though the advice here will be
1) track calories and make sure you are in a deficiet
2) make sure you get 0.8g protein per lbs of bodyweight
3) lift weights progressively 2-4 times per week
4) start walking. start with 10k steps and work up to as needed 360 min of dedicated walking weekly.

Optavia is powdered food and expensive. Horrible for you...
Eat as close to nature as possible. Burn more calories than you consume. You have to be in a calorie deficit.
You will gain everything back when you quit Optavia.
This all assuming you don't have specific diet needs.

What works for me is:
I found what my BMR was (basic metabolic rate), this is the amount of calories your body burns just by functioning if you were to lay in bed for 24 hours. My BMR is 1900. When I started my healthy lifestyle years ago I would eat 1500-1600 calories/day. I did this for 8 weeks. The weight melted off. It's easier than you would imagine. During this time I did HIIT training for abhor 20 minutes and lifted weights for 30 minutes. I did this 3-4 times a week.
Now, I just watch what I eat and still workout. If I notice I started gaining a little weight back I do the 1500-1600 calories/day for about a week and that weight falls off immediately

Only way to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Doesn’t matter what you eat. If you’re in a calorie deficit you don’t even need to exercise for weight loss.

While this is objectively correct, this is terrible advice. It might be a good way to start if you are morbidly obese and can't move around yet, but I don't get the feeling the OP is that. Starving yourself so you can lose weight without exercise will just make you feel like shite in the long run and you'll give up and gain the weight back. Working out increases the amount you can eat and stay in a deficit and the added muscle and endurance will naturally raise your BMR.
If you are physically capable of exercise you should always exercise.

Didn’t say anything about starving yourself, and exercise doesn’t burn that many calories for all the effort required. You can kill yourself on the elliptical for 30 minutes and only burn like 300 calories.
Exercise is for cardiovascular health, not weight loss.
