There have been a recent spike of mail carrier and delivery driver robberies in Chicago. The situation is so bad that Amazon has stopped making deliveries in some parts of the city. Chicago is descending into lawlessness. This defund the police stuff is emboldening the criminals.

Descending?

Fantastic. Still needs to get worse. If I knew I could ballot harvesting for the most liberal politicians in these major metro shitholes and get away with it I’d do it. Chicago, NYC, and almost the entire west coast need to burn.

Probably porch thieves as well. People actually have a job just to come home and your shite was swiped off the porch.

And it’s usually items that are useless to the thieves. This happened to my neighbor. The punks got away with essential oils.

So Amazon does its own deliveries in large cities?

If I lived in an area where this is a problem I'd definitely be utilizing their locker system
For instance if I lived in the NOLA metro area I would never have something delivered with the expectation of it being there when I get home
Sad how shitty some places are

That's racist, Amazon
VERY Racist! The US Dept of Justice, Civil Rights Division, needs to open an investigation immediately in order to determine whether any Federal criminal civil rights laws were violated.
Won't happen because Bezo is Democrat-connected and has already purchased his protection from the Dem Machine.

I’ve never had anything swiped from my porch and I’m embarrassed by the amount of deliveries I’ve gotten here. I live below Canal so definitely urban.
It’s a lot of luck, I guess.

They stole a mastery key from on employee. This a universal key that allows the hood rats to open many mailboxes. They are trying to steal checks.
This is going on all over the country. They steal the check and create a new one with their name on it to deposit in an account or cash it.

If you consider New Orleans large, yep. They have their own blue Amazon vans.

Odds are against your run of luck.

It’s been almost 7 years. Only time will tell. I have very vigilant neighbors; that helps.

They are contractors. Amazon pays contractors to deliver in the small vans.

~70% of Amazon's deliveries are delivered by Amazon

100% of mine are either USPS, FedEx or UPS but I live in the burbs.
