Maxfli Tour and TourX golf balls

Is anyone playing these balls?
There seems to be some chatter about them. TXG did a review against the ProV1 and they stacked up nicely.
When you consider, they’re $30doz for a 4 piece urethane cover ball (tourX), to me it’s worth a look. I think I’m going pick up a couple doz at Dick’s.
Please post reviews

I don’t know how to describe what a golf ball is/not doing but I’ve been hitting the TourX for a while and like them.

They test well performance wise but I think they have a higher than desired imperfect ball rate when mygolfspy cut through a few dozen.

I play Tour X’s. Like them. Little clicky on wedges but can’t beat the price.

Played them for the last year and really like them. Good distance, good spin around the greens.

I’ve played both balls a pretty good amount. For me the most comparable ball to them is the TP5 and TP5x. Both models are very long and low spin off the tee and very receptive around the greens. Im a 12 handicap and can make these balls do whatever I want pretty effectively.
As someone mentioned can be at times a little clicky. Ive noticed that much more with the TourX than the Tour, so Ive come to prefer the Tour even tho the X specifications should fit my swing better.
Overall, Imho its a top level ball for $35 a dozen, you may as well try them out.

I've been playing Maxfli Tour for a couple of years now. They perform well for me. I get good distance and plenty of stopping power around the greens.
As far as the Tour and TourX go, it's a matter of what kind of feel you would like. The Tour is the softer ball, feels like a TP5 for me. The TourX is more firm.
For the price, It's just a no-brainer for me.
I will say, if you have a SAMs near you, they are now carrying Vice Pro golf balls. 24 pack for $50. I bought two packs. I like them too.
With green fees going up and staying up, I had to look to cut costs some how.

I will have to go look and see if they have a more recent test.
here is one from 2021 LINK
They struggled a bit with consistency on weight and diameter. They got an 85/100 score which is solid but not great.

The TourX rated at 91, which would be 5th on the list.
At $35 a dozen, they are hard to beat for performance/cost ratio.
"The bottom line is that Maxfli Tour absolutely belongs in the conversation with the leading direct-to-consumer balls on the market and there’s a strong argument to be made that it’s one of the most consistent balls that doesn’t have a Titleist logo on it. For golfers looking to save a few bucks, the Maxfli Tour is an exceptional offering." – MGS

Consistently ranked as the best value in the golf ball market.
Balls are legit, I've played a few rounds with the TourX and it was great.

I thought the TourX was better than the Snell MTB.

Sounds the Tour X is a safer choice than Tour.

The Tour X is a fine ball, no complaints at all with it.
I just switch to the AVX and I am done for the season, it performs great for me.
But I would have zero issues using the Tour X .

I saw the Vices in Sam's for $39.98. Bought a box. Next week went back for something else and they were $49.98 now. Guess they realized they priced them too cheap.
After some googling.. the $39.98 was a temporary deal before they went up.

Is it true that the only clubs that hit a Vice ball well are PXG or just a rumor at the cargo short store?
I kid, I kid.
Seriously, anyone knows how soft the Maxfli Tour feels compared to the Callaway ERC or Chromesoft?

I went pick up 2doz of the tour x. It was 2 do’s for $70 or 4 doz for $120.
I did see that they sometimes have them buy one get one 50% off. It’s a great deal if it can perform similar to a premium ball.

I do not prefer Callaway. The feel reminds me of TP5.

Quietly underrated.
The tour may be a tad lower launch than the X.
Tour feels great with the wedges. Just as long as the big name brands.
