I would go for it one more time.

I know people want to trade Zion and so on, and our hands might be forced, but I would go for it one more time with Zion/CJ/BI.
I think you have to make major Roster, Training Staff, and Assistant Coaching changes.
Some things need to be corrected.
You need to add shooting and add multiple new players, offensively. You have to shake up the training staff to try a different approach. And you have to add at least one long time veteran coach to help Willie, preferably a former HC that had good Offensive teams.
But I think you have to try and give it one more go. Use future draft picks if you have to to shake things up. If it doesn't work out, you'll be able to trade some guys to recoup picks.
One more shot and then its blow up time.

We likely don’t have a choice. It’s going to be a you want out then you have to play type of deal with him.

Despite what’s going on in here today. I wouldn’t be concerned about the FO blowing anything up. They won’t move Zion until the situation forces their hand. Which, I agree, would be next season if this happens again

I'm ok with them trying it again with Zion, BUT they can't go about it the same way. Drastic changes need to be made.
But knowing this franchise I'm not holding my breath.

I think Zion's team will approach them about a parting ways but the Pels will "convince" them that the best way for him to be elsewhere is to rebuild his status by playing, and then they will try to get better, do shakeups to the training staff and roster, and see how it goes.

You have to give it another year. We saw flashes of what this team is capable of with a healthy Zion. We just have to find a way to stay healthy, and this team is a contender.

Exactly where I am. Zion is too good when he plays to just end this here and sell him off while he's at his lowest value yet. You have to run it back with Zion.
BI stayed out way longer than he should have, but since he came back, he hasn't missed any more time.
Willie Green has proven to be an absolutely atrocious X's and O's coach, but you cannot fire him and be looking for your 4th coach in 5 years. You can, however, gut the rest of the staff, give him some veteran coaches on the bench, and then send him into next season knowing he needs to show personal growth as a coach, or he's done. He's just done too much off the court with the team to fire him this season.
If anyone comes calling for either BI or Zion and gives you an offer you can't refuse, you listen. But I don't think we're getting that this offseason. Therefore, your best hope is to ride with them and hope for better luck next season.
The medical side of the team needs to be completely gutted and rebuilt from the ground up. What they've done has obviously not worked, and it's time for changes.

We are stuck with him just like Nets are stuck with Simmons. Nobody is giving up any high picks for someone that has proven can't stay in basketball shape, stay healthy,or doesn't care. Red Flags all over a GM will get fired right after 1st time it happens if they trade alot for him.

We have no choice. You can't trade zion right now and get .50 on the dollar for him.
If he wants out, tell him he has to play and stay healthy and we'll deal him by the asb. That's 40 plus games and if he plays 35 plus the health stuff will fade slightly.

We are absolutely going to run it back with:
Zion
BI
CJ
Trey
Herb
Jose
Dyson
After that, I don't know.
We need to add a great shooter and we need wholesale changes at center. But a healthy Pels team would absolutely dominate next season.

You call his bluff if he were to ask/demand a trade, zero chance you try to trade him this offseason.
Though I think the odds he demands a trade are virtually zero.

I think they do put some pressure on the FO to make training staff changes.

They shouldn't have to put pressure. It's time for a shake up at this point.

They have to. The went from not cautious and not diligent to way too cautious and still not diligent.

There were rumblings when we hired Nelson that many other trainers had passed him by and his entire rep was just built on being incredibly cautious.
Which turned out to be true.
time to try something else.

I hope everyone agrees with that by now.
