Joe McKnight was no loss. Richard Murphy can't get onto the field at LSU, where would McKnight fit in? He is no Charles Scott and isn't a better return guy than Holiday? He would likely be a receiver if he was a Tiger.

I respectfully disagree, I think McKnight would have done good things at LSU.

McKnight is probably as good if not better than Trindon as a returner and would probably be behind only Scott at LSU

He isn't better than Stefon Johnson or CJ Gable. He damn sure isn't better than Charles Scott.

much better return guy than trindon; not sure if he'd pass chuck or KW on the depth chart.

He is completely different than Charles Scott.

Question: was Reggie Bush better than Charles Scott?

Charles Scott is very good, but he shouldn't get 25 carries while Richard Murphy gets 1. Joe Mcknight would be playing over Charles Scott if he was here or at least split time. I love Charles Scott but if there isn't a hole he creates absolutely nothing. He runs as hard as they come but he isn't a creator really. He can run through arm tackles but he's not a make you miss type back, and Joe Mcknight is. They are just two different players it doesn't mean one is better than the other.

Comparing Bush to Scott or Bush to MCKnight is flat out dumb. McKnight is 3rd string at USC. 3rd string!!! I guess Stefon Johnson and CJ Gable would be best backs in SEC. Afterall, if they are in front of McKnight they must be gods.

Gotta agree. For "the best player in the country" coming out of high school, his career so far has been disappointing. He doesn't have a single rushing touchdown this year. He had only 4 last year. He can't beat out 2 other guys on his team. I'm not impressed.

USC is LOADED with 5 star running backs. Isn't JM a soph? Was Charles Scott tearing it up as a soph?

The 2 guys in front of him, CJ Gable is a sophomore and Johnson is a junior who is not regarded as a first rounder by Pro scouts...

I just simply can't buy the fact that JM was "no loss" to LSU.

That's my point!!!!

Joe Mcknight is a lot more versatile than Charles Scott. Are you one of those people that also say Reggie Bush sucks cuz he's not a true running back for the Saints?

I consider him a traitor who should be forgotten by us all. Those of you who support him obviously forget that he used LSU in some kind of drama for national television, while those who knew him best said he was always 100% trojan. We lost a scholarship that could have gone to some kid who wanted to be a Tiger because of his last minute "cap" switching BS. His fall to oblivion bothers me not.
