I said it on here, 4 years ago, that if Newcastle ever rid themselves of their shite owner, and got some one with cash, they would compete for top 4.
they have one of the most loyal fans bases in epl, they showed while being shite on by ashley.
unlike the glory whores of man city, chelsea, etc. this fan base deserves any success it gets.

Newcastle will have to go the Man city route, and over pay(wages) to get some guys to transfer in, over other top squads.
CL games is also a huge attraction for players.
I like Howe, and think they have made some smart purchases.

Serious players want to go somewhere for the long haul, 5+ years. Newcastle will not be in the CL more than once in the next 5 years.
