So...does this mean I can install COD then sell back the disk at Gamestop?

No...need the disc in the tray to play it, but the actual game loading will be done from the hard drive.

Please tell me you didn't actually think that this was possible. This is a joke question right?

I wish they would just have verified the disk every 5-10 play sessions or once a week rather than every time. It would just be easier.

I agree with the above

How great would it be to load all your games on the hard drive and not have to worry about the disk anymore. They could have figured something better than to have to put the game in everytime.

not gunna lie i was hoping for the same thing

but it worked out for me. my ncaa 09 has been unreadable for a good month now. put in my roommates ncaa, saved it on the hard drive and now when it asks for the disk i can put in my broken one but it still works

Maybe, but you won't be able to get on Live. They will be able to tell if you are doing that and will ban your console.

judging by the TWO xbox 360s I've had to send back due to red ring of death and the windows laptop and desktop that both crashed and had to be replaced in the last year, explain how this isn't the truth you sarcastic genius you.
