Can’t keep their weight down, can’t stay on the field, and getting in trouble off the field. I am sure they’ll be a 30 for 30 on this in 15 years. Also, I hope that “performer” releases the tapes. Maybe he’ll start worrying about his performance on the court instead of off.

Yeah because Jamarcus flashed mvp level talent in the nfl.

Oh wait he never did that.

Both equally fat, dumb, and lazy.

Lots of similarities.

But Zion is throwing more away.

And I don’t recall JaMarcus ever knocking up pornstars and spitting in mouths.

Nobody ever watched Jamarcus play in the NFL and thought “this guy might be the best player in the league.”

I’m fully off the Zion ship, but when you see him play you think “this guy might be the best player in the league.” His offensive dominance is just unreal.

Zion flashed more than JM, but I think he's more like Johny Sins, John Holmes, RON JEREMY, Rocco Siffredi, Manuel Ferrara, James Deen, Peter North, Kevin James, or Richard Peter Johnson.

Russell is physically the perfect QB. Tall, thick build with solid athleticism. To this day, he has a top 5 arm all time. Plus he had a quick motion. I believe he was at Luck's physical level.

On the flip side, he did not like preparing and was not the smartest guy. So there were going to be issues and struggles. But he went to a horrible situation and he became a drug addict. People make fun of the drank stuff, but it was a big reason that he never got another shot. Other than the fact he didn't particularly like football..

Dude I love LSU Jamarcus and this is asinine.

We need Zion to lose his familial support structure, and losing that derailed JR. Also, the organization has its faults in roster building and we are cursed with injuries, but we're not the Kiffin-led Raider.

Did anyone ever confirm the apocryphal story that the coaches gave him a DVD of footage to watch for prep with nothing on it then he came in the next day saying he’d studied it?

I'm sure that is true. He hated football and wanted to quit. They did him a favor by cutting him. I saw him in a video training with Jeff Garcia talking about it. It's a waste, but makes sense looking back.

Didn’t JRs uncle advise a rookie QB to hold out and he didn’t take snaps until well after training camp?

Zion is more Reggie Bush than Jamarcus

It’s a comp I came up w years ago and then McNamara either stole it from me or randomly arrived at the same conclusion.

The Saints did win a title w Reggie Bush. But we would need Zion to be more of a main character on the Pels, than Reggie was on the Saints, to do the same w the Pels.

Not nearly that bad. Not in the conversation for being the biggest draft bust in league history.

This is a stupid take. I watched all of Jamarcus games at LSU and no way I would have taken him in the first. He was a second rounder just off his arm talent, but not a great qb. He was booed a few times in tiger stadium. That shoujd tell you everything.

Zions talent is undeniable. Easily a a number one overall pick. He does have lazy immaturity issues though.

this is the dumbest take

Zion is great on the court. he is just injured

Russell never showed anything in the field even when healthy.
