What's our rank in Week 2?

Without predicting the game, I'd guess for each situation:
30+ point win: #1 - unlikely
10-20 point win: #2
Close win: #3 - Some pollsters just like keeping their top 4-5 teams the same early in the year, but who knows.
Close loss: #11-12 - I doubt we get bumped in this case. Media likely spins this as FSU is good rather than LSU is bad.
Convincing loss: #18-20
I know this stuff isn't all that important. Just trying to kill time before 5

And it’s been a long offseason but from what I remember the playoff committee doesn’t lock in the final 4 in week 2.

I think solidly at #3 with a handful of 1st place votes. The 1st place votes will be rewarding LSU for beating FSU and punishing UGA for creampuff.

After week 1, unless we win 70-0 or there is a major upset in the top 4, we will still be 5.

its a take but what happens on the other games will have more impact on going up the ranking. If those 4 teams whip their opponents too then we wont move passed maybe 3. Going down is much easier.
