Putin was actually popular in Russia in his early days. He did fix some stuff that needed fixing like not letting pensioner starve.

This war is simple to figure.
Putin is a nationalist ( Russia first) whom the globalists hate and know Putin will never allow One World Government ;and so Brandon baited Putin with threatening to allow corrupt Ukraine into NATO when all Putin wanted was the assurance NATO would never admit Ukraine...
Trump is for America first also and so they had a clear understanding of each other and their mutual hatred of the Globalists agenda.
There could be peace but the globalists won't have it and want to do away with Putin so they can get a weaker leader who will side with One World Government.
This is why true conservatives want to stop this globalists' war which is destroying the people of Ukraine over their One World Order desires
