Let me preface by saying most of Ds and rinos' are corrupt, but their schemes are more advanced. This is just plain stupid corruption.
Bruh, one of the few minority congressmen and now facing 2nd corruption trial in a single decade. He got hung jury before, but this is looking like a slam dunk case.
He's now going around saying he's from Cuba so he fears government confiscation so he had gold bullion stored at home. Except fingerprints and DNA of cooperating Egyptian co-conspirators was on it.
I'm glad they charged that Carmela Soprano wannbe wife of his. Thats going to be fun sentencing if convicted.

He was born in the US, and his family left Cuba years BEFORE Castro took office.

This is an interesting case. Why go after him.
I have always believed that the firewall that the corrupt in DC have is mutually assured destruction. You expose me and I'll expose you.
This challenges that theory, unless something else is going on. Maybe Menendez is not in the club.
