QB Josh Nesbit - 46/99 for 658 yds, 2TDs, 4INTs

Out of the 46 completions, 36 have been completed to Demaryius Thomas.

All GT Running Backs Combined - 600 carries for 3388 yds, 5.6 YPC, and 32 TDs

stop the run = victory...we have 3 weeks to learn to stop the option

Stopping the option requires playing disciplined, assigment-sound football. Can we learn how to do that in three week? That's the real question.

But that one dimension is VERY good.

that ONE dimension can run LEFT, RIGHT, STRAIGHT, or pass. And they are extremely good at it. Hence beating Georgia.

Stop Ga Tech run= not possible with our current D coordinators.

Stop Ga Tech run= Extremely difficult for solid defenses, which is why they never pass.

GT ran the ball 20+ times in a row vs FSU and was able to beat them(FSU did fumble the ball near the goal line).

I was at the UGA-GT game last week. I remember seeing the statistics through 3Q and Nesbit was 1/6 for 12 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT.

That is the poster child for being one dimensional.

However, that type of offense has a way of negating speed. Our guys can't bear down because they're not quite sure where the heck they need to go.

I think Tebow's skill and Meyer's offense does a similar thing at Florida.

UGA had 2 weeks to stop it and failed miserably, what makes you think that one additional week will help a porous undisciplined LSU defense do what UGA could not?

Yes...but we, against Arky, were pretty much "no-dimensional". Better step it up a notch, or we will get throttled.

The D line has been DOMINATED the whole year. Three weeks will make NO difference!!!

GA and Miami thought the same thing. Woody Hayes always said that 3 things can happen when you pass, and 2 of them are bad. Why throw it when they can't stop you on the ground?

Do remember, our defense sucks as well. The numbers are comparable.

The TRIPLE option is far from one dimensional.
