A public service announcement. I read that Art (main guy) has MS. Just a warning to those wanting to go. I think they are in BR next. The vocals are rough.

Kudos to him. He is still out there. They played about everything I wanted to hear. The music is fine. But his voice has been robbed of a lot. He has to talk/sing quite a bit. The guitar player takes over some and they all drop out quite a bit and let the crowd sing.

I’m not shitting on them. If you listened to Sparkle and Fade ad nauseum like I did, you will enjoy yourself. But prepare yourself.

They did.

Bass player hung out with fans and signed shirts etc. Pretty much stayed there and signed until he ran out of people.

They didn’t play anything from Sound of Noise (think that’s the name) but played a bunch. I got my $$ worth.

His voice is the only knock. And the dude has MS so I give him a pass. He’s still out there. It just seems he doesn’t have the lung capacity to wail and hold notes.

Damn. That is sad to hear. He had such a rough childhood and got his big break much later in life than most rock stars.

I saw them back in 2011 and they put on a great show. Glad I caught them then.

Did they do the thing they used to do where they would invite a fan onstage to play guitar on one song? I always thought that was awesome.

No. Nobody got called up. I’d have done it.

I would be on YouTube. For the exact opposite of awesome.

World of Noise. Sounds like singing fire maple song would be rough.

saw them a bunch in the 90s and had some great times. Art was always very nice to us. Of course even back then he was in his late 30s I think.
