NOLA

Mayor LaToya Cantrell will be heading to Las Vegas next week for events that will mark the official Super Bowl hand over to New Orleans, which will be hosting the game on Feb. 9, 2025.

Cantrell is joining a large New Orleans delegation traveling to "Sin City," which is hosting its first-ever Super Bowl on Feb. 11 at the $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium, where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers.

"We're planning for 2025 and want to showcase our city to the world, not only for the Super Bowl but for the 20 years after Hurricane Katrina," Cantrell said on Thursday during a news conference to discuss policing in New Orleans.

I hope she's using all tax dollars and runs up the tab. People in NOLA are stupid enough to vote for that.... You go gurl!

If I know Teedy, and I think I do, she’s gonna be pounding yard dogs 24/7 on the strip

The cost of the delegation is so minuscule to the economic impact of a Super Bowl that this one is okay. Going to Dubai for “climate change” is not. I hate Teedy but this seems worthwhile to me.

Good. Better than having her at work where she can do major damage.

She doesn't want to witness a repeat of last year's big Mardi Gras weekend and toast Krewes that she actively hates and vice versa.

And I won’t miss her one bit at the Extravaganza this year!

You think Teedy's presence in the office is what sealed the deal?

As a fascinated observer, I love seeing this woman work. Fani Willis is a baby compared to this woman. LeTerr could have a RICO warrant and would still fly first class 5 miles away to watch a tree grow.

The lunatic fringe on this board never ceases to amaze me. Trying to make this non story into something it’s not just so you can get your rocks off.

For the uninformed. This is tradition and happens at every Super Bowl. The Monday following the Super Bowl there is an official handover ceremony from the current host city to the city hosting the next year. There will be a large contingent from LA made up of both Dems and Republicans going to Vegas.

Sky screamers are gonna sky scream

Yeah, and it’s pretty common for the host city from the following year’s superbowl to send a delegation to meet with them at the current site.

However, for her I bet this is a strictly pleasure trip.

They are pointing out that your Mayor is only ceremonial. She just goes from event to event living that Queen life.

I've never been to NO but I've posted before she's one of the most fascinating government officials I've ever read about. I've never seen anybody so stupid, so corrupt, but so blatant and unapologetic as this woman. Yet nothing ever happens. This would make an incredible Netflix doc

Teedy has so extremely abused tax payer dollars that she shouldn’t be allowed to do these things. She should be on a travel ban at minimum, but realistically should have been removed from office
