Forehead wrinkles

They started popping up this year.
Half of me wants to embrace them as chicks dig some aging and the other half of me wants them gone. I’m early 40’s but have always looked very young. No grey, no balding, etc. To see wrinkles is confusing my brain.
Botox wouldn’t be an option but what’s a good reversing cream or treatment?

honestly....l would say very light amount of botox
on top of that a daily moisturizer with spf used in the morning and any night cream before bed
but only botox will really help and better to start very light to prevent than wait and try and fix

Skincare routine, bro.
Morning:
Cleanse
Vitamin C
Moisturizer
Sunscreen
Evening:
Cleanse
Retinol
Moisturizer
Get your micronutrients from foods, especially vitamin C and vitamin E. Eat enough protein. Biotin is important as well. Supplement as necessary. Avoid too much caffeine (better if you can cut it out completely). Limit alcohol to special occasions. Drink lots of water. Avoid too much sun exposure.
Avoid being overnourished and taking in too many inflammatory foods. Exercise, lift weights.
The skincare routine can help with fine lines but nothing deep. If they’re deep set wrinkles, you need Botox. If not, the retinol can do wonders as can the moisturizer. The dietary/fitness stuff will help with longevity.

This board is really making me wonder about some of you.
Y'all gotta stop with some of this anti-aging shite. Wrinkles & balding are normal - comes with age. Get over it and yourself.

My approach is I almost never look in the mirror because I don't care.

Just tell people you were a pro wrassler, and it's not a wrinkle, it's a scar from cutting yer forehead with a razor blade like all the greats used to do when they wanted to bleed in the ring.
If you don't look like this then yer worrying about nothing.

My issue is sun spots. Too much time in the sun in my 20s

Botox is really the only thing that will do what you want.
I'm not sure the rationale behind not doing Botox, but I'd think of it like this. Botox will work. I'd either focus on doing what works or focus on accepting that wrinkles are gonna happen.
I've focused on accepting wrinkles. When you hit middle age, you also get hairier. For most men, 40+ is about slowly morphing into looking like a giant scrotum.

All botox does is relax the muscles so that you don't wrinkle up your face as much by not moving the muscles as much. It started a long time ago as a medicine for muscle spasms and other things. I've had injections in my back a few times, but what they typically use in the face is a very small series of injections around a certain point. It tends to last for several months, so you could get injections 2-3 times a year and it will definitely slow down the wrinkling. There are also other injectables that will help to fill in wrinkles and creases. Collagen is pretty popular, as well as Juvederm, which is a hyaluronic acid compound. They tend to last longer, but don't have the same effects on the muscles.

You can get neuromodulators overnighted from South Korea to your doorstep the next day. Once you learn a little bit, it’s easy to do. Then you can do your wife and save the 2500 bucks a year.
Retin-A is what most people use prophylactically for wrinkles, it irritates your skin makes your skin peel, but if you push through it supposed to make a big difference. It helps skin cells, turnover faster, or some thing.
For sunspots, there’s a lot you can do, IPL, BBL, glycolic peels, topical Hydroquinine, and sunscreen.
There are these crazy phenol peels, google that! The before and after’s are hard to believe. But the peel is so astringent that it can cause heart palpitations, or other heart issues, but the results are unreal.

I think it boils down to not being able to perceive how you actually look to other people vs what you see in the mirror….and people go too far over time.
How many celebrities have you seen and think “holy shite” because they obviously have had a lot of work done? They probably don’t see it and think they look fabulous. I don’t want to be that guy.

Don't be non-committal about this. Go Hard or Go Home!

It’s not Botox that makes people look over done it’s fillers and facelifts. In the future, we may not even be doing much fillers anymore, it’ll be fat grafting, stem cells, exosomes, things that trigger repair, and stimulate collagen production like salmon sperm.
Botox just prevents dynamic wrinkles, which even a 8yo has. Dynamic wrinkles cause static wrinkles. If you’re trying to get rid of static wrinkles neuromodulators don’t always correct this. They just make your face look relaxed, sometimes our facial muscles are in constant contraction, and we don’t even realize it like squinting.
I forgot about micro needling, that works to reduce wrinkles, and you can do it in your scalp to increase hair growth.

Thanks. Any specific recommendations?

yea thats why i like the peptides more so than even botox. botox is great but people can go overboard and people 100% go overboard with the fillers. peptides allow the body to perform naturally.

Depends how much you can spend, and how quick easy results you want. Cheapest but takes months is 12% Hydroquinine, you can get from GP, dermatologist, esthetician, or musley. It’s $30-$100, depending where you get it. It’s all the same but some have to pay for marketing. You have to cycle it, or it can make the pigmentation worse. I think it’s 3 months on 2 off.
It would be best if you do a bbl, broad band light therapy in conjunction with the cream. You don’t do it over the beard, so partial face should be $300 or less. Do 2 bbl 6 months apart and the cream should be mostly gone. The 1 bbl per year, and big hat or sunscreen anytime you are out more than 30 min. When UV index is low maybe longer. Elta is a good brand sunscreen.
