I was shooting my X macro and after 2 mags the trigger failed to fire. The reset works if you hold the trigger down and rack the slide. I have 700 rds through it. After looking online there seems to be an issue with a lot of 365’s with the trigger return spring. Apparently Sig has them cut at the factory and some get cut too short causing the issue. I’m going to order an aftermarket replacement. Just giving folks a heads up because it’s a popular gun.

I haven’t heard of this issue, but I’m going to order an aftermarket spring to address the issue before it happens. Thanks for the heads up!

Me either until today. I googled my issue and found a ton of people having it. Glad it happened at the range and not in a gun fight.

BTW armory craft has a Trigger kit that includes an upgraded return spring along with a striker, and sear spring. Supposed to help with reducing trigger pull. Gets good reviews. It’s only $20. I have one in the way.

They have a video in the link on how to change it out. Doesn’t look to hard.

That's not good. I was looking at the 365 or the 43x mos.

I wonder how long the spring in that trigger kit will last?

Reading some post on the Sig subreddit it depends. Some guys get thousands of rounds and some start having issues right out of the box. The springs are made in India and Sig cuts them at the factory. Some get gut too short causing the issue.

Look at the M&P Shield Plus too.

Was looking at these as well, and last minute I came across a Hellcat Pro package with 5 mags included. If I got the 43X, I was going to grab some of the shield arms magazines to get 15 round capacity. But then read of some reliability issues with those. When the Hellcat Came with the extra mags at nearly the same price as the 43X itself, I jumped on it. Have not had a single issue (1000 plus rounds) other than the slide not locking back on empty mags with cheaper target ammo. I don't quite classify that as a failure.

This is good to know.

I called SIG and, sure enough, some are having issues.

I've got over 700 rounds through mine with no problems but they're sending me a replacement spring just in case and they also offered me to send them the pistol and let them replace it.

Is it just that macro or all P365 variations?

if this was addressed, I completely scanned over that...

I'm reading cases that it's across all models. I just contacted Sig to see if they'd send a replacement. The agent said you have to send it to Sig to have it replaced under warranty. Turn around time right now is 1-2 weeks. I think I'm just going to buy a spring kit and do it myself.

The FCU is the same in all models so it’s across all variations. I ordered several aftermarket springs. Sig springs are made in India from what I gather. Armory craft are good ole Merican steel.

Greyguns for sure. Probably should order other trigger bits too.
