Family has been hounding me to make a big batch of hot tamales.

Filled a big Magnalite oval roaster - 5 layers, about 125 tamales. Simmered for a couple of hours.

Stopped for Tex-Mex after running errands.

Split some queso with chorizo.

I had street tacos...one pastor, one barbacoa. My dude had chicken mole enchiladas.

We each had a couple of margaritas...rocks, no salt.

Your wife must be responsible for you having that Magnalite! Those look good!

She is. That's what marrying into a big Cajun family will do for you.
