Trying to get simpler. I just happened to read the back of my beloved Old Spice and didn't like what all I saw. Does anyone have recommendations for something simple, effective, and natural for deodorant?

Every one I have tried has made me smell like BO after a few hours, I am a heavy sweater though so YMMV.

If you want to get really weird...I've heard lemons can replace deodorant. Whether or not it works...

+1. Not a heavy sweater but my BO can get bad especially if I'm exercising. Nothing natural has ever worked for me. Went back to deodorant with antiperspirant

I just stick with anything that doesn't have aluminum in it, which means it's not antiperspirant.

If you don't use an antiperspirant, all you are doing is covering up your stink with another smell. Your stink will eventually overpower the other smell. Gotta use an antiperspirant.

Mitchum works best, but Dove Men's Care is pretty darn good as well. Degree if they are out of the other two.

You're telling your body not to sweat, which is a natural thing your body is supposed to do.

LOL. You're meant to sweat. Lose weight and trim your pits, and you will sweat a lot less. I also shower regularly, so stink isn't an issue.

I use a company called VanMan.

Here are the ingredients:

Organic Coconut Oil
Organic Arrowroot Flour
Magnesium Hydroxide
Organic Beeswax
100% Grassfed Beef Tallow
Organic Shea Butter
MCT Oil
Tapioca Flour
Rosemary Oil
Grapefruit Oil
Activated Coconut Charcoal

Baking Soda

Your body odor has a lot to do with you diet and lack of magnesium.
